Suicune is a Water-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation II along with Raikou and Entei. It is one of the Legendary beasts resurrected by Ho-Oh after the burning of the Brass Tower. Of the three Legendary beasts, Suicune is said to represent the rains that quenched the flames of the burning Brass Tower.
Suicune is one of the Legendary Pokemon of Johto beast trio. As Pokemon Go Raid Boss it has of CP 34471 and it can have Max Capture CP of 1613 (Level 20, perfect IV score).
As is the case of all Legendary Raid Bosses, it is not soloable. Number of trainers that will be required to defeat is around 6 or 7. Suicune is a pure WATER type, in many ways similar to a weaker version of Lugia.
Suicune is currently available only in Asia-Pacific region (until September 30).

Suicune is a pure WATER Pokemon, however, his moves are quite varied. So countering him is difficult due to his different type moves. Our favorite Golems, we used for Legendary Birds will not be of much use.
We recommend using a small Zapdos battalion, bolstered with Exeggutor and Venusaur Solar Beam calvary. Dragonite is an option also, but keep in mind the following: if it’s Electric type or it has Solar Beam it’s good. Every other choice is more or less the same thing.

Suicune can only be effectively countered with Electric and Grass types. Bring your Tangela, your Ampharos, Victreebel and Lanturn to this fight if you need a solid Team Two.
Lanturn can also be used as a Team Two member, especially as he has solid stamina and access to Electric type moves, so don’t forget that. Tyranitars and Golems are better left benched.
