A new event Potter’s Calamity has started in Harry Potter Wizards Unite. It will be way more rewarding than the last event Flora & Fauna. This event is divided into two weeks, with different rewards.
So there will be more tasks to complete, Foundables to return, and Restricted Books to be rewarded.
Potter’s Calamity Week 1
This special in-game event will have four tasks which will reward Restricted Books, XP and Brilliant family XP.
Duration: One week (July 16, 2019, until July 23, 2019.)
Restricted Books
When you level up your Profession, there are some skills or speels that need Restricted Books to unlock. Restricted Books are awarded for completing Special Assignments in your Assignment Tracker.
Player XP
This event offers the best way to get players XP, 1,000+ XP per trace with Baruffio’s or Horned Serpent hunting.
Base XP: 500+ XP (based on bonuses)
Base XP w/ Baruffio’s: 1000+ XP (based on bonuses)

After you walk 7 km during Potter’s Calamity, you will have access to special Portkey Portmanteaus. Portkey Portmanteaus can be used to unlock more Brilliant fragments.
